This live Acetone record is my RSD MVP so far. Just spectacular...

Glad you are recommending it. I just saw a post RSD YouTube video a couple days ago showing off that beautiful cover and decided it would be my last (hopefully) 2024 RSD pickup.

Apologies for the rant -

I've purchased a few of the "Revolver Icons" lottery releases over the last couple years, never getting anything but a Bronze, but I think this is my last one. I purchased this when it went up in July last summer. At the time there was no other mention of the album having a wider reissue or I would have just waited. Soon after my pre-order, non-refundable I might add, other non-so-limited versions started to pop up for a September 2023 release. (And the whole NFT thing is stupid, too)

This variant was just mailed out in April. I had to wait about 10 months to finally get the first release that was announced, 7 months after the others were released. It also comes from an inferior cut/pressing plant than the "regular" variants....being a Stan Getz II / SunPress combo. I haven't been too happy to see anything pressed by Sunpress - way too much surface noise, even after cleaning. The other pressings are a Bobbi Giel from Welcome To 1979 cut, and I've had some great sounding records cut by her.
