I like all the ones you mentioned, but I’m most surprised I like Ariana’s album. I have tried before to get into her music, but never could. This one just kinda worked for me. I don’t know why.

I have not seen Fury Road yet, but I plan on watching it this weekend then heading out to see Furiosa next Friday. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to watch Fury Road.

Honestly much faster than I anticipated. But yay!

Oh yeah and I enjoyed Challengers a lot. The sound was incredible, which is not something I expected to be saying about a tennis movie. But it really builds tension. The whole movie is like a tense exploration of three people’s chemistry and it worked super well.

Saw Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes today and enjoyed it quite a bit. Not a masterpiece or anything, but for a film this deep in a franchise I am kind of blown away it’s this good. It feels fresh and exciting and has a good ending to set up the next one. I also dug the gradual pace and build.

I actually am someone who missed the original hype for Dua Lipa, so coming into Radical Optimism I didn't have all this weight of expectations. I like it quite a bit, and obviously a bit more than so many people online it seems. I think it's a tight, breezy collection of really good pop songs...
