100% this. I thought about dipping back in for Little Richard, then realized it was $55 USD. Still have Impulse! pending. Barring a great run of titles I really want, that would seem like a good final chapter on my time with VMP.

Like where your ankle rolls out? I'm not 100% sure. I'd suggest stopping by a running store or better, your physiotherapist, and asking them. I run a lot and am well read on lots of this stuff, but at the end of the day I'm only an elementary school principal, not a bio mechanic specialist. Sorry.

It's a standard early 60s Prestige blowing session; sounds fantastic, but there are hundreds that are of similar musical quality. IMO it's not essential, unless you're a Nelson or Dolphy super-fan, but it's a great listen. For me it wasn't enough to renew my sub, YMMV.

I’ve discovered some cool music through VMP over the years…Moses Sumney, Gang of Youths, John Moreland in the past; even Chalino Sanchez and Michael White recently, but I can not imagine blind buying from them now.

I listened to the one track and it seems fine, but also like the kind of anonymous Spotify artists that are just filler. I guess my question is why would one spend $41 on this vs just buying the Blue Velvet soundtrack? Or Scott Walker’s The Drift? Or a Nick Cave album?
