Void/Faith - Split

I don’t normally post if something is an OG. I mostly don’t care. But there are some records you dream of owning a very 1st press of. To say the Void side is important to me is an understatement. I can't believe i found a 1st pressing...

This just came in. I couldn’t be happier.

Void. The best band on Dischord. The pride of Columbia, Maryland.

It’s on some kind of weird cd stuff (SHM-CD):

It also has an obi and a weird insert book in Japanese that has the lyrics in it in addition to the normal book.

I bought it to see if it would play in the marantz and I am going to eventually do a shoot out with the og, the 2013 remaster, the 2013 remix and this. This is the same master as the 2013.

ohhh ok this is a cd, i was going to say, i thought i missed a vinyl version

I have every vinyl pressing of in utero sans japan (1996) and south korea (1993)

the shoot out I've done, the 2013 remaster wins (not to be confused with the 2013 mix). Love the OG, but Albini basically said he wouldnt even touch a remaster if he didnt have full control (45 rpm cut, Pallas pressing, abbey road studios)...universal gave him everything he wanted, no questions. It's the only pressing of in utero he oversaw EVERYTHING...haha

The German pressing and back to black are cool, but novelties at best.

Not sure how those plates got mixed up though ,

Bob did do a killer job on 2023 as well.
