They've been around 20 years, same year I graduated college, so I suspect genre influences that knowledge as much as age. Adult Swim launched in 2001 (the halcyon days of Sealab 2021, Harvey Birdman, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Brak, Home Movies), though not everyone tried to track down the source of the bumper music

Never got into those much...but more into DBZ

We had adult swim parties in my dorm room starting with the second ever. The first one me and my dorm neighbor found on accident and were just like, “what the fuck is this??” The entire time.

Many Bong chambers were cleared back in the day by me and my roommates while watching Space Ghost Coast To Coast, Sealab: 2021, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Adult Swim was so good.... I was just a little too young to get into the early days but I caught the tail end of 2021 and then got into ATHF... Squid Billies... Moral Oral... etc. The 15min shows were always the weirdest and best.

This is another one where I will have to take a hard stand on price. If they can get this out at $150 I may impulse buy on the day of. Anything 200 or above and I am passing until that Stax Anthology comes along.

Mmmmmm I’m just waiting for that Stax Anthology! I want another Anthology similar to the Motown Anthology!

Recently I have enjoyed some Eric Andre though and I enjoyed rick and Morty up until I stopped watching it around the time pickle Rick happened

If this turns out to be true, I might be in for this, Com Truise, Tycho, SOSB, Tobacco, Gold Panda, Phantogram, are all excellent artists on the label. I am a bit disappointed they are going with compilations, going to put the swim albums on spotify and if they are good enough I'll most likely go through with this

I’m happy with the Motown box and would be interested in getting all the anthologies but I have literally NO interest in this one. I would never spin this adult swim comps after giving them a listen. The music isn’t bad, just something I definitely don’t need to own.

I wonder at what point they will saturate their market and cause sales of products to cut into the sales of other products?
People have to be making rational decisions when purchasing records right?
