yeah, just pulling your leg buddy, I reckon the last 20 pages of this deal thread have been about this box set - discussions about:

- if it's a real deal,
-oh my god it is indeed a real deal,
-if it's numbered or not numbered,
-what number you have and how they weren't numbered in the past,
-that you should check if your copy shipped with all the records as some didn't,
-how awesome it sounds,
-how awesome reputed audiophiles think it sounds,
-i have no money to buy this,
-fuck it, i have no money to buy this but the forum has convinced me to buy it,
-don't worry, you did the right thing buying it.

...and lots more!

p.s. I haven't bought it..... yet.

Whats the opposite of vinyl deals?

Soul Jazz Records are increasing their prices (including back catalog) at the end of june.

'Unfortunately Soul Jazz Records vinyl has to go up in price at the end of June 2019 following continuing increases in manufacturing costs. This is the first increase in our prices in a number of years - we were faced with the choice of reducing the amount we spend on packaging, etc or increasing prices - and we don't want to compromise.'

Production cost increases always trickle down to the consumer, the question for the vendor once they make that choice is will the consumer be willing to absorb said cost. Consumers always have the power, we're just not willing to put our foot down at times. ;)
