Given the number and caliber of players out for the Caps I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but this is pretty crazy:

You get crazy seasons like that sometimes. That Habs season from last year was for the ages in terms of injuries... they broke the NHL record and even had a game where they couldn't dress 20 guys because there was nobody left to call up from the minors.
All I can say is that it eventually gets better...
