I know it’s odd, but this is my favorite Album by Beam.

It was the first one I spent a lot of time with, I bought the cd when my wife convinced me to go see him play a show - made me a fan. A woman named Angel Olson opened for him and I’ve been a fan of her’s since as well.

The Jive Turkeys - Bread and Butter

I just realized that the cover to Jive Turkeys is a piece of toast. I’ve thought it was some low res picture of an explosion. I thought it was an odd cover but just thought they were alluding to the fire contained in the grooves.
