Mike and the Moonpies 'Live from the Devil's Backbone' (October 6, 2023) double vinyl album. Each album comes with 2 mismatched vinyls so colors will vary.

Live album and expensive but yet here I sit with my finger on the buy button because I’ve missed too many of these albums by waiting.

First time on vinyl 🤔 - I guess Universal follows the same code as VMP: "European vinyl releases don't count. Americans have no way to purchase them or even find out that they exist."

I saw a photo of Kurt Cobain wearing a T-Shirt featuring this album art when I was in Junior high and felt compelled to check this album out. All these years later it’s good to see Urban Outftters still helping kids discover Daniel Johnston’s work likely due to that same Kurt Cobain photo.

I'm actually wearing my shirt from the last Daniel Johnston tour/show which took place at the Paramount with Built To Spill backing him. @JonnyH knows what I'm talking about.

I got to interview Daniel once. A great honor, but a bit of a struggle to say the least.
