I am not fucking with Target at all anymore. I hope their sales continue to drop through the floor after canceling all of their contracts with marginalized vendors.
That said, even if I wasn't boycotting them, I pre-ordered 2 different items from them last time, only to have them canceled once they were unable to fulfill them. One was the Uzumaki soundtrack, which I eventually purchased for more elsewhere. The other was the Sufjan Silver & Gold box, which they delayed until after Christmas and canceled it once my other options had all sold out. Both were pushed back multiple times and I was told there were no plans to cancel them, but... they did it. They're clearly selling stock they aren't guaranteed. Terrible experience.
I still have my order for the upcoming Daniel Johnston book by Rizzoli, but I don't trust it. It's been pushed back, but that's happened everywhere. I guess I'll see what happens or jump ship and pay more elswhere.
