after 5 months away, I've re-upped for one month of VMP to grab QOTSA and Slowthai and then back out the door I'm going. I feel dirty.
got my final VMP record today, a preorder of Denzel Curry. came dented, bent, warped and scratched. felt like a nice final fu and a fitting end from them. they also must be getting killed on this because they responded to my email within like 10 minutes with a refund.
it took 14 months of waiting due to shipping errors but I finally received my copy of J Cole's KOD on vinyl.
6.4 and a 7.1 earthquake within a day of each other. Goddamn
Flew back East to visit some family, ended up at Fenway tonight and watched the Sox win on a walk off. Good to be back.

finally happened. I got engaged yesterday. woahhh.
friend of mine passed away suddenly yesterday. its been rattling around my head all day. he had so much life left to live, was such a creative and good hearted person and im just baffled at how someone like that could be here one day and then not here the next day. ive been thinking a lot about my own mortality lately. im not sure i believe in a better place, but i hope hes there.
still trying to figure out what I'd do with more time.
