Honestly, this is the Beyonce album I’ve connected with the most. I’ve liked individual tracks along the way, but I enjoy a lot of “Cowboy Carter”. I’m happy she won. It was overdue, but she also earned that.

I’m glad I’ve stopped watching the news because we’re about to go through the annual hand wringing from right wing pundits about many of these speeches and performances. Sigh.

As noted earlier, we really shouldn’t read too much into these quick cuts to artists reacting to performances, but Beyonce looks as relaxed as I’ve ever seen her at one of these events.
