It’s easily the most robust build at their price point. It’s simple to use, in my opinion it puts the money in all the right places, and it can pretty easily power virtually anything you throw at it.
I wish they were easier to demo, but at $2500 also fairly safe that you could turn it around...
I was looking into Dynavector carts and stumbled on this today. Really unique design. I haven't seen anything like this before. The set up video was very helpful to digest how this all works.
Personally, I'm not actively looking at anything but the threat of tarrifs would only inspire me to pull the trigger if I had cash in hand and was going to pull the trigger soon anyway. But it wouldn't inspire me enough to finance something. This is all luxury stuff. There's a lot of luxury...
Still selling, so why not. I would not be shocked in the least if they have had meetings about fixing this issue and found that most customers who experience this ultimately resolve it by moving up the pro-ject product line.
That's kind of what I was thinking. I just thought it would be such a shame to have an SUT that becomes bricked effectively because you decided to change carts. Especially if you went to a lower output. But if you could use the lower output cart, the SUT you have on hand, and just up your gain...
Here's my biggest initial question: deciding on gain/loading ratios?
I understand that it's generally thought that one should match their SUT to their cart, but I'm curious how things work if you have a less than ideal match, but also a flexible phonostage. For example, let's say I decide the...
Per usual I'm finding myself distracted, away from my stereo and wondering about various system possibilities. I've started to give more thought to the world of Step Up Transformers, aka an SUT. I know I've seen posts from @SnowmaNick @Joe Mac and @HiFi Guy discussing SUTs at various points. As...
Just hear to say that it's almost 4 years later, and I finally have a Hana ML on my TT. Currently at about 25 hours, so it's still breaking in and I'm getting used to it.
This is REALLY standing out to me. Amazing pressings and recordings have been... well, amazing. But so far it also feels...
Sorry, I shouldn't have opened the political topic.
Just steer us back to normal things - I feel like I'm the only person in the world that doesn't instantly love the Hana ML. I'm trying to ride out the breakin period, and play with settings, but it feels a little sterile to me so far and is...
