I've been a diehard Nuggets fan through the dark ages. At this point, I kind of just want him traded somewhere where he can help prevent the Lakers from winning anything while racking up titles.
I'll never not believe the Luka trade wasn't dictated from Silver's office with back payments in...
If anyone sees Cunninglynguists Southern Underground... I struck out at the one shop I hit and had to be on a bus for a wine tour by 9:30am and couldn't try anywhere else.
Do we think the SVS sub that just landed is too close to the turntable? The credenza the turntable is on weighs 200lbs.
I'm currently waiting on a 15 inch cable to land for the sub, but for now only have a 6 footer. Once it lands, going to the left side of the center is easy even if it makes...
Well, I had planned to wait til the end of the year to add a sub. But with this incoming tariff war, I decided to pull the trigger now.
Added an SVS SB2000 with a black gloss.
Thanks. Food for thought. First priority is adding an SVS sub. I have a friend who is willing to buy the B&Ws off of me but I should probably give them a wired test run as 5.0's.
Not sure. TBH, outside of my wheelhouse.
I spent all of yesterday toying with the speakers. The 3.0 is handling movies extremely well. Watched my 4k blu of Point Break last night and was able to set it at only 48 decibles and still hear dialogue clearly and experience a surprising amount of pop...
Something my dad sent me for the curious.

My dad thinks I need more power for these speakers long term. Especially when I ad the sub. Somebody else here mentioned the same thing.
The Kefs I got are notoriously power hungry for bookshelf speakers and I'm noticing I need about +10 decibels for the same volume that I did with the B&Ws...
What receiver should I be saving up for? Currently have the Dennon 2700 (2022). The 3800 would seem like a smart bet but they are also in financial trouble.
$1500 would be $1k at my dad's shop and is likely the budget. Dont need more than 5.1, but do need phono capabilities.
I think I've decided to bring the TV forward with a mount, possible tilt and then to mount the center speaker towards the top of the mantle. That will at least maximize the audio.
There simply wouldn't be enough seating if I flip everything to the other side.
If projectors ever get to the...
So the problem I'm encountering is that the mantle is 22". Mantle mounts only clear 18" for whatever reason. And they are the only brands allowing for heavy vertical drops.
My only option may be a Sanus 4D shift which would allow be to install the mount at the top of the mantle, extend it out...
So is it your recommendation too? I've been shocked at how stumped my dad has been. He's holding firm to just add a speakers stand in front of the fireplace.
