Soooo I did another thing... My Jag is now a three humbucker monster. Bridge and neck are P-Rails with triple shot rings. Middle is a Novak MS Gold Foil humbucker, one side D'Armond and the other Guyatone. Pickup runs to the top control with a 5-way rotary for series, parallel, north coil...

Funnest way: the first Ramones album. All of the bass is in one speaker, all of the guitar is in the other. Hard pan to one side to play along with Dee Dee, or hard pan to the other to find the notes that work with Johnny.

I sincerely hope that this is the case and there is a wider release. On the other hand, I said the same thing about Wu-Tang after getting four terrible copies, and there still isn't a stand-alone 2LP version of that :( And this El Guincho album is SO. DAMN. GOOD.

Anyone know if that El Guincho is being released elsewhere? Been wanting that one for YEARS.

Just discovered that Bill Frisell did an entire show as a featured performer with Yo La Tengo in 2019... Realllllly wish they did this regularly, that's my desert island combination!
