Yes, it landed on my doorstep last night! A very interesting pick. Of course I know Bettye's earlier work (especially into the recent reissue of the Muscle Shoals Sessions from 1972), but not her recent stuff as an almost 80-year-old! I will spin this by this weekend at latest. Thanks again.

FWIW, the last time I stopped by a B&N and tried for any of those amazing deals, every single one was out of stock or had reverted to a higher price. I think that bonanza ended back in January.

Interesting how the colored vinyl versions in this sale are often less expensive in most cases than black vinyl. Maybe less good reviews of the colored pressings than the standard black? And I realize many of us don't collect CDs on this thread, but the 8 x CD Lee Morgan (and Bennie Maupin)...

I agree there are deals in here. But I also have to admit I got frustrated scrolling through pages that had a lot of titles whose prices seemed so high that they aren't really a deal at 30% off.
