@MikeH – I got the record back! The packaging was similar to mine, but not the same. Corners were all dented or creased w/ a top seam split inside a shitty mailer. Pretty sure I got the ol' switcheroo. I'm leaning towards sending the refund and calling it a loss. It's not worth losing a 100% seller rating over. I should have added insurance in the first place. Still sucks...

You can get bad feedback removed pretty easily by logging a ticket to discogs if that’s what you’re worried about. They’re pretty lenient about siding with the seller

Interesting...I did check this morning and the PayPal transaction says "Seller Protection: Eligible", but I don't really know what I'm doing. It doesn't seem like I can initiate anything. Does it depend on the buyer starting a claim?

Not to my knowledge. My guess is the masters may have been in that fire from around that same time. Would still buy it in a heartbeat!
