i was able to pre-order my switch 2 at my local gamestop in-store yesterday. never even tried doing any online pre-orders, i knew that was going to be a fiasco

looks like it’ll be like PS4/PS5 games and/or DLC patches where game data needs to be downloaded to the console but you still need fo insert the cartridge everytime you wanna play

the Zelda notes app being added to botw/totk is such a nice upgrade for those games!!! i already had to use a laptop next to me when playing totk to mark down where all the korok seeds i collected were for completion. now, it’ll be more convenient for future players!!!

looks like i made the right call in buying wind waker hd for $20 on the wii u. can’t believe we never got the port for it for switch 1 or 2 😂😂😂

seems very likely prime 4 release date will be alongside switch 2 launch date so i imagine they didn’t want to incidentally spoil that info on a switch 1-focused direct. we’ll find out for sure in three days

nope, nothing noteworthy (at least imo). my headcanon was that nintendo chose to do this direct just to show people that switch 1 will still get games for the foreseeable future, but anything major or AAA will be shown off on the switch 2 direct next week most likely
