I just like talking about music. Blind Spots are fun for discovery but just being able to espouse on bands and albums I love is pretty fun too.

The song is officially named “(They Long To Be) Close To You” not exactly a title that rolls off the tongue or, given the parenthetical; indicates that the label had confidence that people would instantly know which song the title referenced.

If you are unfamiliar with the band you might not realize what song it is. I bet more people know it as the “Why do Birds suddenly appear…” song than by its actual title.
