This album has been described as David Bowie in hell. Tom Wait-esque vocals wrapped in a goth post-punk blanket. It's one that has surprised the hell out of me and I can't stop going back to it.

Satan is the One is a standout track.

Y'all, I may have f'ed up on this pick. I checked with the label ten days ago and they said they had 40 copies left. Now on Bandcamp it's saying they only have six copies left ☹️

I might need to do a backup album. @avecigrec what do you think I should do?

I didn't consider that Bandcamp Friday was happening and probably made a big dent in their numbers...

Reach out to the band/label. They may/probably have more.

So I heard back from the label that's doing the distribution and they are indeed down to their final copies after a bunch of Bandcamp Friday sales. Currently the band has no immediate plans to repress since they're fronting the costs themselves, but that could change. I'm sorry for the outcome of this one, thought I had done my diligence in checking with them and didn't expect them to suddenly sell so many after they'd had them in stock for months. I can pick a different album if everyone would like and this can be the bonus album that never was. You should still listen to it though. It's an intense ride and hits like Chat Pile does for me in terms of bleak dark songwriting.

Just what to give a big shout out to @Poly-Rythmo. They've asked me to make a donation to a food bank or a music venue in an area hit by the hurricanes in lieu of spending the money on shipping the record overseas. So I've happily done that on their behalf. If we decide to do another record this month since this one has supply issues anyway, then I'll try and hook him up regardless for his kindness in thinking of and putting folks in need first.

I made a $50 donation to Be Loved Asheville on their behalf.

Cheers @Hemotep for a fantastic guess thread, and great album. It just felt a bit weird spending quite a bit more on the postage than on the record so helping out some hard-hit folk seemed a decent idea. Thanks again @Hemotep for making such a kind donation. Love this place...

Spinning this now!

Being a fellow alcoholic, I would be remiss to not have a drink while listening. I really wanted to do something with blood oranges, but unfortunately my grocery store did not have any. They did have cara cara oranges so here is what I came up with....
2 oz Kraken rum
2 oz Orange juice
Dash of orange bitters

Turned out nice and tasty and the color matches the orange ghostly record.

As for the music, it is dark and hits the spot this fine evening.
