Movies

Here's my next watch. Heard a story about it on NPR.

With how excited they seem about utilizing generative AI in the next 2 Avengers movies, I don't really expect them to make anything worthwhile again, Marvel or not.
Is this confirmed or just an (admittedly safe) assumption based on the excerpt above? I haven't seen any statements from them about using AI for anything Avengers-related, but it's very possible I missed something.

Does Millie Bobby Brown have a multi-picture contract with Netflix? Like the old studio system contracts from the 40s and 50s where you were forced to do bad movies to fulfill the contract?

They also directed a ton of really good episodes of some of my favorite comedies of the 2000s/2010s... but now...
It's also a bit hard for me to believe that they made blockbusters as solid as The Winter Soldier and Civil War entirely by accident so it seems to me that it's more a case of getting to a certain level of success and deciding to just phone it in rather than them being secretly terrible the whole time. Working for the Marvel machine seems to have had a similar effect on Taika Waititi unfortunately.
