The Official Needles and Grooves 1001 Album Generator Project (aka Preachin’ about the Preachers if today’s selection sucks)

That would be a pretty terrible cold. Though I did cough for like 24 hours straight on Friday so that would have made it hard to listen to anything.
¡Onion tea!

Take one big onion and cut in 4.
Put in a pan with one piece of garlic.
(Add ½ inch of ginger root if available).
Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
Boil the onion and garlic until you're down to approximately 1 cup of water.
Strain the liquid into a cup.
Add lemon juice from one squeezed lemon.
Add a teaspoon of cinnamon.
Add honey to your desired sweet taste.

Drink as hot as you can tolerate.
Whatever nastyness you have will be gone after that.

(Also, if you can sleep through the smell, place quartered onions around your bed before going to sleep).

Onion AND Garlic? I will take the cold thank you very much!

I still think it is their best album. I listen to a bunch of lo-fi music so that might be why it’s not a problem for me.
I don’t know man, it’s like that Durand Jones solo album - it’s good but the shitty production knocks it down a peg.

Sticky Fingers also has a soft spot in my heart. It’s the album that moved them out of Greatest Hits only territory for me.

I originally did not like Ghostface because of his voice but over the years his flow and storytelling have won me over. Was not familiar with this - dug it.

He was never my favourite Wu-Tang MC, but I did always dig him. Have not heard most of his albums since Supreme Clientele. Intended to go through his catalogue after reading his autobiography last year, but have yet to do so.

If this was not a muddy mess of a recording it would beat out Sticky Fingers as their greatest work.

It beats out sticky fingers because of the songs for me. It’s the stones, it’s always going to be a bit grimey.

Sticky Fingers is probably my least favourite of their great run, I’d put Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed above it too.
