The Official Needles and Grooves 1001 Album Generator Project (aka Preachin’ about the Preachers if today’s selection sucks)

I think the main reason I like this album more compared to their other ones is that it's RHCP at their most tolerable. This album could probably stand to lose a track or two towards the end of the album though.

Yeah, they are a really good “Greatest Hits” band. I actually made a Spotify Playlist as a result of this selection.

The biggest issue with my playlist is that the Beavis & Butt-Head Do America OST is unfortunately not available on Spotify currently so I couldn’t include their cover of The O’Jays - “Love Rollercoaster”.

Yeah, they're definitely more of a singles band. To me this album feels the most "Complete" of their whole discography to me. By The Way is another one that I can actually listen to the whole album straight through. Most of the others, Even BSSM, I find myself skipping around a lot.

I am exactly the same, those two albums might not have their absolute best tunes (though, they have some really good ones) but they are the most complete with much less filler.

If I am being completely honest, I would rather listen to a handful of John Frusciante’s solo albums over any RHCP albums.
