The football thread RenegadeMonster is looking for: NFL talk

Just saw - I can’t copy the link - a video of a sportscaster that hits the truth with me. He states that Sanders going undrafted is the NFL’s pushback on NIL and is making a statement that kids who run the NCAA now won’t have that sort of power in the NFL.

Shedeur did this to himself by skipping throwing opportunities and telling certain teams he wouldn't interview with them. He thought he was Travis Hunter.
Not to mention who wants to sign up for the sideshow and non stop sniping from Primetime as he tries to get the coach fired so he can take his job.
Still, The Ravens (former home to Ray Rice and current home to Justin Tucker) were okay with picking the edge that was cut from the Virginia football team because of sexual assault charges.

I don’t think Sanders ceiling is super high but the kid can play considering the number of players with outsized egos, it’s crazy that no one wants to give him a shot.

That seems crazy. The NFL already punishes draftees with rookie contracts, you would think you would wanna entice them to leave the NIL and come to the league.

I think honestly Prime is a big part of this, because he's going to meddle SO so much in everything.

Yes, I didn't even think of the angle of having to deal with Deion always lurking as a replacement coach. It would take a seasoned coach to have to deal with him and an organization that won't push the head coach out. There's not that many that come to mind that would even entertain a backup like him at this point. Pittsburgh has the biggest need at QB but Tomlin isn't dealing with that.

Yeah but QB is such a different animal given how much they have to invest in that position. I'm still trying to wrap my head around why New Orleans took Shough in the 2nd round.

Cam Ward is going to enjoy throwing to Gunnar Helm. Guy made the Texas offense work a lot easier last season. Great pick for the Titans.

But Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco and Antonio Brown played in the league.

And if you are saying we’ll, they are all WR, I can throw Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers, and Tim Tebow into the mix as well.
Yes but the difference is this is an outside coach who's going to completely fuck with your player and also the rest of your team. And he's a Hall of famer, different situation.

Also those guys became difficult, they didn't come in already at the top of the list of pain in the asses
