I don't like to be judgey about what people like but my girlfriend watched it the other day and I had to leave the room, too cringe. It sucked

I was at a viewing party over the weekend and my children were wild in the back yard the entire time. The parts I saw were fine. Like most things over hyped , it never lives up to the promised experience.

I enjoyed it, but honestly pretty much thought the same. Watching Daveed Diggs pretty much school everyone while doing an accent was quite entertaining.

Some really great performers, but I am afraid Miranda isn't one of them. I do respect his talent for writing something so complex, but I don't enjoy his acting.

Also, was Miranda having an off night or was he always that bad?

i heard the soundtrack and thought "this is a hip hop record.. this just feels like every other musical"

I enjoyed it, but I thought the glee dude stole the show. Not sure why people would see it 5 times, but maybe it was different in person. Definitely not aimed at hip hop heads over musical fans.

@livinsmall I'm certainly in the minority. I usually understand pop culture phenomena, but this one I can't wrap my head around. It's a lonely island.
