Not going to lie, there's nothing wrong with it but I'm about half way through and it disappoints a bit. Mainly because I have such high expectations for them. I also have not heard much Andy or Jez vocals except for a few background spots.

I might not know where I’m at because my Qobuz has randomly gone onto repeat. It’s no worse than Kingdom of Rust from what I’ve heard so far.

Agreed but it's light years better than Kingdom of Rust!

I also think the album is a grower and that you need to be in the right headspace for it

Record Store don’t seem to have shipped my pre-order, but ended up also pre-ordering the CD from my local RS to get a ticket for an outstore they’re doing in Feb, if such things are possible by then. Will pick that up tomorrow.

Most physical copies show a release date of September 25.

Yeah their website, from where I bought mine, is showing that it’s shipping in a fortnight all right.

That means it will be at least a month until I see it here.

Yeah it’ll take about a week here. I’m not too fussed though as I’ve bits of my system off being repaired right now so it’s kinda incidental to me once I get it lol

I thought it founded great on first listen but my expectations were quite low.

I cancelled my box set version since that wasn't shipping until 9/25 ( or 25/9 if you prefer ). I'll be happy with just my red version and t shirt.

I definitely will give this more listens. I listened to it on my way to work after a bad night of sleep so I could have just been grumpy and tired.

I’m actually now onto the new Flaming Lips album and it’s fucking fantastic!

I am enjoying it and definitely think it is a good album. Their first three albums are all great, so that's an expectation level that I was not expecting this to meet.

I just got an email from the Doves store saying that my order will ship out over the weekend. And had a 15% code for their store or Sound of Vinyl because of the delay.

Maybe the 25th date is for new orders since there was some kind of delay.

The red one is completely sold out on those sites though...
