Lunch time at my house:
14 y/o son: Can we listen to Alexa?
Wife: Sure
Son: Prog?
Wife: ugh, ok, but only if we also play 80s New Wave too
Son: ok “Alexa play Progressive Rock”
Alexa: “Ok, here’s a station you might like”

I’ve decided to sell off quite a bit of my record collection, only keeping records I will actually listen to, or ones that hold a sentimental value. I’ll give you all first dibs, and a discount, of course. I’ll put up a google doc in a few days in the Buy Sell Trade area.
Received the Bone Thugs Harmony RSD release from Port of Sounds, nice corner bend and 2” split on outer sleeve. Email sent. Reply: “We sent item's in pristine condition. This split could only have happened in Transit, we aren't liable for this. We also do not have any more of this title... You could reach out to the label and see if they'll send you a new jacket sometimes (like a lot) they will!!!”
Received a shipment today (Elton John, Bloodflowers, Judas Priest), and the records have corner dings. Sent an email with the following pictures. Am i justified in wanting some kind of compensation? iCloud
Dude on Discogs lecturing me on how it’s bad form to visually grade a record, that it shouldn’t be graded unless it’s been spun. If you don’t want to buy it, don’t.
June 25 I ordered a couple washable masks for COVID. Tracking shows they left Illinois June 27, got to San Francisco June 30. Left SF July 2, and I just now received a notification that they arrived, 8 days later....... in Oakland.
Don’t worry, by the time I get them, the vaccine will be on the market, so really it’s a win-win.
