Casper, Disney’s Tower of Terror, The Little Vampire, Halloweentown, Addams Family. Gotta scare the kid a bit to firm up that personality

Thanks Y’all!
@Melt Face Molly Drop i agree... his dad is a chump tho... doesn’t let him do anything. Like he made me turn off the first Back To The Future because of the bully scene... of all things

Hocus Pocus and Scooby Doo and the Witches Ghost were my two favorites as a kid and they both hold up

The new animated Adams Family is great for young kids. Mine also love the Hotel Transylvania movies--all three of them. The Nightmare Before Christmas is a classic but it did scare young kids when we watched it with a group. Coroline is another that really freaked my daughter out as a small kid, but she loves it now.

The Witches is also a classic but I would wait a few years for that one too.

I second Monster House, my kids loved it at 4 years old.

I endorse Wallace and gromit (weirdly underrated for being fantastic), nightmare before Christmas (though also a Christmas movie so I Stan), and hocus Pocus is a nostalgic classic to so many people

I third Wallace & Gromit - Wererabbit. It's a super fun movie. I thought Coco was incredibly sad.

Tbh it depends on how much the kid can handle scary stuff

@duke86fan not just that, but you gotta really know what your kids fears are. Ours are almost 7 and still can’t watch Hocus Pocus but handled Prisoner of Azkaban just fine.

Def some contenders.
Yeah, kid is a little wimp (so was I, couldn't handle the Power Rangers first movie lol) and Dad might have final word on it... I just don't want to get stuck watching Toy Story for the gazillionth time...

Hotel Transylvania. Maybe Boxtrolls?

And like others have posted, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit definitely and ParaNorman and Monster House as well.

My kids aren’t scared of shit. I was seriously considering the original Halloween movie for my 4yo and 6yo.
