is there a very low drawing heat source behind them like a power converter or something? My wireless router messed some of my stuff up because it was parked too close.

Nope, they are by a window, that never gets direct sunlight. I live in Seattle, so it never gets hotter than 85 in my apartment, and thats a couple days out of the year.

Only time I had an issue with stuff bending on the shelf has been when 1) stuff packed in the sleeve or 2) when the sleeve was supported, but not snug/flat against its neighbor (like with a low bookend or something not full size)

@Corycm do you store your sleeves outside the gatefold?
