I believe they consider the creation of the label as “posting”. And if you use their label creation system it’s fairly straightforward. No printer needed if you use the QR code option (unsure about UK)

I didn't know about their label system not requiring a printer so I will look into that, thanks. What annoys me is that they expect me to pay postage and ship it out without having the money in my account first. I would never expect to buy an item from anywhere before they have the money from me. Very fustrating.

No printer needed? What do I do then? Wait in a post office line for an hour so they scan a QR code for me?

That or their kiosks in the foyer part of the building scan the codes now I believe. I don't have a printer and typically just bunch it with my other errands so it's never been an issue.

Ebay is now extremely unfriendly to sellers. I have been selling on and off since 2007 and I might be done after a recent experience.

@Melt Face Molly Drop oof, yeah, to each their own but if the cheapest printer was $1,000 I would still consider it a worthwhile investment over going into the dreadful postal buildings.

@gouis it really truly is completely awful and unforgiving to regular sellers, if you have a store and hawk thousands of dollars worth refurbished Apple computer parts, they’re pretty friendly.

Exactly, it's entirely geared towards buyers and giant stores. The days of making side cash by selling stuff to people at a cheaper cost than they can get elsewhere so you both win is gone.

Which is actually awesome, hopefully it means more record swaps and a better selection at your local. If I’m selling an album I’d probably still rather go to my local and support them than make $1 or $2 more on eBay. There’s always discogs but I have an even harder time accepting their fees since they run such an antiquated website and take a giant slice of the pie for what is community governed and created.

Since I mostly sold books, video games, and movies I much preferred half.com back in the day. Just set your prices and wait around. It was also a great place to buy used books for cheap. The internet sucks now :-(
