Yep I use a glue stick as well

Also let me clarify the toothpick. I put the glue on the toothpick and use it to apply so i can pick a little off of the stick rather than bring the whole lot upon the sleeve. I then roll the glue into the separation, trying to overlay where the manufacturer glue was
