Got back row at the Shrine in LA. Surprised they are only doing 1 night there.

I saw the price of tickets, bailed and used a fraction of the money to buy the Optimal UK yellow pressing shipped from England. Saved about... $250. Ticket prices are insane now, I refuse to pay it.

@Mather I feel this, given how many amazing shows I attend for $15-$25 a ticket at small venues that I'd prefer to frequent anyway. I attend a larger show at a price point over $60 a ticket maybe once every three years now

@blenoxsmith yes exactly. I saw Sons of Kemet a few years ago for like $15. Amazing show. Gang Of Youths like $25. Both times about 20 feet from the stage. I'm not paying $135 a ticket to be in the second balcony of a massive opera house. I'd rather save the money and listen in my livingroom.

Yup, this spring was Yasmin Williams, The Beths, Mogwai, Kishi Bashi, Fontaines DC, Jenny Hval, and Armand Hammer & Injury Reserve all for $25 or less (well, a bit more for some after fees).
