Didn’t things get contentious between Mike Doughty and the rest of the band following the split? I guess time and money heals all wounds.

I guess so, Sunny Day Real Estate would be another example of time & money healing wounds I suppose.

Never saw Soul Coughing the first time around, even though I was living in Minneapolis at the time, although I've seen Mike Doughty since.

The one time I saw Doughty solo was on the Plays Soul Coughing tour.

Also, @TenderLovingKiller®, per your weren't things contentious query: So much so that Doughty never referred to any of them by name in his book - he only referred to them by the instrument they played.

So what your saying is it might be wise to see them early.. I did notice their Tour Shirts reference the unlikelihood of this tour…
