Artist hands are tied unfortunately. The only thing they can do is the most extreme, and that's to not play shows at all. Or play at small clubs, which the tickets probably would get flipped anyways. Everyone loses, not sure it has much to do with being liberal or conservative. I think both sides are against high ticket prices.

I think that somewhat, but Isbell was wearing Prada overalls the other day at his show and that ain't exactly common man wear.

He was also a fairly prominent character in the latest Scorsese movie. I’m not really expecting the dude to wear Osh Kosh B’Gosh. I’m sure he finds other ways to stay grounded.

He is still one of my favorite artists regardless. I just get sick of the price of concerts tickets, whether that is the venue, Axs, Ticketmaster, Live Nation or the artist's fault.
