Damn, I was hoping that they would get a win.

They were forced back on an extension of their expired contract. The crown corp has been ordered to pay a 5% raise on that extension, retroactive to when it initially expired. Beyond that, Canada Post just ran the clock rather than fruitfully negotiate.

Big thanks to the Liberal Party for showing every corporation in Canada this year that they don't need to negotiate with their workers in good faith. Just wait it out and get the government to force them back!
