$18 domestic ground shipping on a 7" single really ground my gears recently.

Or UPS telling me it was $120 to send a record overnight (was shipping on a Friday) to get there on Monday. I did ground for $14 and it was there on Tuesday. They wanted to add protection on top of the $120 for an additional $60 as well. More than the value of the record.

What does parking in an urban area have to do with late-stage capitalism? Cars are an incredibly inefficient mode of transportation and use of real estate in dense areas. Parking in cities should be way more expensive than it is.

@BjorgenFjorgen Well in Nashville around where I live they charge ridiculous parking rates when it isn't even close to the central part of the city. I am talking where there really isn't much of anything. Parking could be free like it was 10 years ago, but they thought no let's just charge $25 because we can.
