If it's expensive, it's probably not worth it (meaning, you likely won't be able to tell the differences in "quality" of the picture). Plus, in 2 years that TV's value will be chopped in half. They're like cars in that regard.

Can I be honest about TVs? I've had a projector for over 10 years now and it was hard to find something in a TV that made us want to switch over when the projector was about to die. So we got another projector. No one could show me what regular TV programming would look like. Everything had some form of blur.

LG OLED for price, Sony OLED for motion clarity. Disable motion smoothing on everything.

@mdmost I secretly want a projector setup but I’m already pot-committed to my TV arrangement.

Projectors are the shit. Especially now that they've gotten laser down to a reasonable price. HOWEVER anything 100 inches and below just stick with tv if you don't mind the giant black rectangle on the wall. They're roughly the same price and you'll get a far better image and HDR on the tv at that size.
