Sega Genesis felt like such a huge step up from the NES when it came out. Probably my favorite console I ever owned. Who knew a game about a dolphin could be so incredible.

Yo....SoR, SoR2, SoR3....all great beat-em ups. SoR2, IMO, is the best but they DO ALL have great soundtracks. You ever play the fourth one that came out a few years ago? Really, really good. Does the legacy justice.

@Panera Ciabatta Diapers I played the shit out of the SoR games when I was a kid in the 90s, but SoR2 will always be the best. And I have not played the fourth.. I didn't know it existed, lol. I'll have to look it up.

Yup if you've got Steam it's available there. It is very good. Classic SoR story, move sets and, of course, a killer pumping soundtrack. I believe there is an online mode as well but don't quote me on that.
