At the risk of being shunned by the rest of the forum I admit I pretty much exclusively listen to digital & CD nowadays. Vinyl just became way too unreliable especially for the price.

Yeah, I'm basically there with you. It's fucking batty that they charge 30$ a pop (or even $40) and still haven't fixed the fucking quality control. I shouldn't have to experiment with baking shit or fuck over local record stores to ensure I have a flat record.

I try to pay attention to who is pressing the albums I want. If it’s not one of the three or four best plants then I go digital. I have a record pi now to go and flatten all my older stuff but it’s frustrating to get warped new records still. It’s an imperfect medium so there’s always gonna be the possibility for a warp but some plants are warped more often than not.
