Needles & Grooves

I'm having the internal debate of streaming it today versus waiting for my un-trackable vinyl that shipped 3 days ago to show up.

I'm going to have to take some time with this one, I don't really like Jez and Andy's singing so the first half of the album is kinda rough for me...

I'm going to be honest as a huge Doves fan. I have pretty low expectations for this one. The Universal Want didn't really grab me. But it's a band I love what they do so I support it. The vocals on "Cold Dreaming" kind of made me cringe the first time I listened to it.

I'm equally a huge fan of the band and if I'm being perfectly honest, I wasn't sold on Jez and Andy's vocals at first either but after repeat listens I got used to it and it doesn't bother be as much anymore. I think the album is more akin to Lost Souls musically and for that reason, I like it!
