was I wrong about Pallas??

Did you get your copy already? I got a "shipping notice" on February 26th and it hasn't shown anything past "label created"

I ordered from bandcamp and never got a shipping notice but got it a week or so ago

The gold version? Maybe I should have done that. Hopefully it will just show up.

I got plain black version. Bandcamp came with the download too

Finally listened this morning and it's killer.

@dbarila i am in the same boat and getting impatient. I don’t even really give a shit about the color. If I had known I coulda picked up the standard version a few weeks earlier I wouldn’t have ordered this version.

@MikeH honestly yeah kinda, second side had left channel noise throughout. It's not loud enough to ruin it but it's not something old school Pallas would have done. I'm only through disc one so we'll see about the rest... Also charging $75 and using paper sleeves should be illegal.

i'm pretty sure mine had black poly-lined inners? can't remember though...and no channel noise for me--listened through headphones. mine was slightly warped though but was easily fixed. dammit pallas.

I'd be very surprised if you had different inners, these were black but no poly. And I've seen online people commenting on the shitty paper sleeves...

@D_Jilla had the same complaint about his copy regarding the paper sleeves.

@dbarila I just checked my USPS Informed delivery and it looks like they finally dropped my copy off at the post office in Saturday and it’s already arrived in Seattle. Hopefully I will have my copy in hand by tomorrow or Wednesday. It shipped from San Francisco so it might take a bit longer to get to you on the east coast.

I like it but the 2 hour run time really makes it hard to sit through for me

@Mather very possible i had black paper inners and threw em out right away. luckily i didn't have any paper scuffs or anything.

Yeah the left channel noise is definitely a pressing thing, the discs themselves actually look fine. It really wouldn't be an issue but the album is pressed pretty quiet. It's not audible until I get it pretty loud, but just typical of post pandemic Pallas.
