That's crazy. I bought one late last year and it was like 150 for the F150.

They have gotten stupid crazy expensive. When I last bought a car battery in December 2023, my Honda HR-V which has a really small batter, it was like $225.

There was an option for $225, but it only had a 12 month warranty. The better battery came with a 4 year warranty for $300.

yeah, that's another thing chat changes about batteries. 12 month warranties are all too common now. Also, batteries last no where near as long as they used to. I remember getting 8 years easily out of batteries in the early 2000's. Now you are lucky if you get 3 years out of a battery.

The prices for acid have gone up due to supply chain and bird flu.
