I have AirPods Pro 2 and find them wonderful

What do you use the headphones for? Listening at home or on the go? AirPods 4 will probably do the job, the Pro 2 just provide more noise cancelling and are better for something like flights. AirPods - Compare Models

Mostly on the go. Out for a walk or run, or at work. I usually listen to music when I'm on a break or lunch.

I liked my original Airpods and then got Beats because my wife had some but was never really a fan of the sound quality. One of my Beats pods has stopped holding a charge. I thought maybe cleaning the connections would help but it hasn't seemed to work.

If I got the AirPod 4s they also have a model with noise cancellation so I might go with that one. I think they are $50 more than the regular ones.

I would go with the pro if you are going to run with them. The AirPods 4 are more like old Apple ear buds while the pro have the silicone ear pieces for a snugger fit. Also noise cancellation is point less on the 4s. My wife really likes her pro 2s. If you are running, I would recommend them over the b&ws too.

Yeah the Pro 2 will provide a snugger fit for running. Those are the ones I have. I was a bit concerned that the rubber piece would hurt after a while or that I couldn't take calls with them (due to not being able to hear myself well), but those ended up not being an issue.
