    I fell asleep during the last hour, but the best Supporting actor/actress categories definitely still had the presenter talking about them instead of showing clips. Some other random categories had it to. Like best costume?

    I think I said this last year, but I hate how they do the nominations for the acting categories now. I don't want to hear the presenters toast each nominee. I want to see clips of the acting. Especially for the movies I haven't seen yet.

    Anyway, back to the Doves discussion. I like Andy and Jez's voice better when they're used sparingly and compliment Jimi's. I was never a fan of that Black River album for this reason. They're also fine on Lost Souls where the vocals are a little more processed.

    I'm going to be honest as a huge Doves fan. I have pretty low expectations for this one. The Universal Want didn't really grab me. But it's a band I love what they do so I support it. The vocals on "Cold Dreaming" kind of made me cringe the first time I listened to it.

    When I was little I fell and had to get stitches while playing Wheel of Fortune with the spinny thing at the bottom of the dishwasher. I almost poked my eye out. Those things should be outlawed!

    Oh yeah. that does sound kind of familiar. That's how she got paralyzed but not how she dies if I remember correctly. Glad we got that figured out.
