    It does seem to get better with each listen. That first listen was kind of jarring for me. Not at all what I was expecting musically. So I think my brain and ears needed some listens to adjust accordingly.

    Alamo Drafthouse may not be what it once was, but I do still enjoy when they show older movies as part of a theme. As part of their 1974 theme, I was able to catch both “Foxy Brown” & the original “Black Christmas” on the big screen, which is pretty rad.

    I love when an album clicks for me after multiple attempts spread across an extended period of time. I consider myself a Sonic Youth fan, but for some reason I’ve never been able to fully embrace “Daydream Nation. Until today. Not sure what the issue was, but I’m glad I’m officially over it.
