Better late than never. One of my favorite albums of the 90s, and of all time actually.

I aged like a president between 1:00-5:00 this afternoon.

As far as that album goes, for me it’s ‘True Blue’. Every line of that song is masterful. It came on while I was out for a walk yesterday, and I was reminded again how fantastic the songwriting is on that one. And Lucy nails the lead vocal.

They kinda did. From what I’ve read, it’s complicated. Two of the members are sisters, and I get the sense that for the sake of their family dynamic and health, it is best if they focus on their separate projects. Which seems weird to me, but family dynamics can certainly be a challenge.

Regarding my year end list, I actually said to myself the other day, “You’re Charles Bisselling the hell out of this list.”

I feel like there have been a lot of really good albums this year, but not many great ones. I don’t remember a year where I’ve had so many albums on my year end list shifting around this much this late in the game. So many albums are kind of on the same level for me, and few are really standing...

Really hate trying to purchase tickets for any events anymore. An already shitty process has somehow been made worse with the pre-queuing and the post purchase ticket app step. Also, I really miss the physical ticket stub keepsake from a great show.

It’s PJ, so before it was even released, I had it mentally penciled in my top 10. But it’s definitely a seasonal album for me, and I’ve only recently been able to spend any real time with it. Currently it is in my 20-25 range. I know it should be higher than some of the stuff ahead of it, but...
