Per the subreddit...so nothing confirmed...but indication is Tropic Morning News single coming Wednesday.

hell yes...can feel it in my bones. was skeptical at first of the leak. now it's just what will be released. likely album announcement, new single, and tour would be my guess as others have opined above. i would doubt an album drop as they've been great with vinyl so i can't imagine they'd have...

Certainly reads like the single is coming out in the next day or so...but that they're still working on the shape of the album. Likely pushing that to next year. Really hope I'm wrong.

Aaron confirmed as much from the stage on Friday night...that Weird Goodbyes would be released "very soon"...

Didn't see a thread for one of my favorite bands yet...so let's get one going to discuss all things crawling from the South and R.E.M. New Adventures is my favorite LP of theirs, but I've been going back through their whole catalogue lately and man are those IRS era records something great as well.

Neil was already my all-time fav...does nothing but increase my appreciation. The cynic in me is a little skeptical about this being a way to drive traffic to NYA, but hey, I'm already there so the more the merrier!

Sorry about that...I suppose you have to go to the Times Contrarian "Message From Neil" post on the Archives site. Long story short...there are dozens of releases coming in the next couple of years, including Archives Vol. III et al. Mind numbing amount of Neil.
