How would compare them?

Yeah, this product shot is confusing. I think it’s intended to compare the two options: the LPS or the two wall warts.

Two dc outs from the 20/20 to the LPS, one ac cable from the LPS to the wall (or whatever). I’ve found that adding using my Shunyata Venom ac cable had little impact here compared to using it on my amplifier, so there’s some good power conditioning going on in this thing.

Exactly. When you reach that level of quality gear where you start looking at power, be it a power supply, high-end ac cables, or conditioners. The Sutherland LPS is a solid upgrade as far as those things go.

I hooked up the stand power supply this morning and did a little comparing. The short answer is that the LPS gives me more of everything I would want from a power upgrade: better dynamics, a more solid image, and a better sense of depth. All together, it’s not unlike the jump from the Insight...

My 20/20 came with the LPS, but I do have the standard power supplies as well. I’ve been meaning to do a comparison, but got sidetracked by my journey into Tubeland. I’ll try and do a comparison in the next few days.

Elusive Disc sometimes sells certified retipped Soundsmith carts at a discount, somewhere in between the cost of a SS retip and a new one. That’s how I ended up with my Zephyr.

First world problems, but 2020 is gonna 2020 when you least expect it, so I’m a little anxious these days.

FedEx is toying with me. First it says my two packages will arrive on the 17th, and then it says the 11th. This morning, one was arriving today and the other tomorrow, so I would have a couple sets of power tubes but nothing to put them in. Now they say both will arrive today.

It arrives tomorrow, probably later than I would like. The AC cord I built last weekend should be fairly well burned in by the weekend. Good timing.

One of the things I love about this forum is that a new purchase by one member is exciting for everyone else as well.

I imagine it’s no accident that all the wood finishes on the furniture (and TT) in this picture match. Does the walnut on the Wharfedales bother you at all? Personally, I love walnut.
