Nothing is. But look at MOFI, Impex, AP, Music matters, Tone Poet, Speakers Corner, Classic, Sam, etc etc. etc. - all black. ORG does colored sometimes but they would no longer be considered a pure audiophile label.

This is a fabulous record. I know OG's are pricey, but well worth it. The BBE won't be analog and can't sound near as good as the superlative OG Victor. But otherwise, this album needs to be heard, even if it is BBE.

True. I find the song ok, but far from great. Maudlin, repetitive, lyrically fluff. A bit Vegas-y in production, strings, harmonies, etc., but at the same time, I suppose it needs all the sauces and toppings possible to hide the bland flavor underneath.

Chad's idea of more modern is 1970's. MOFI - maybe some, but it's hard to sell something recorded ProTools 16/44 as audiophile.
