When I was involved in having records pressed, what you described was called "random color" on the form. Just a bunch of leftover pellets of who knows what colors, and maybe it will turn out cool, or maybe like mud. Most places tended to price random color the same as a black pressing.

TMR seems slightly confused that Tidal sent that email out to Vault members. They said nothing has changed, and they are currently in contact with Tidal to figure out why it was sent to TMR's customers.
